In 2005 the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) undertook a multi-tiered project in partnership with AFMW to develop a range of resources to provide assistance and support to rural and remote women doctors. The particular focuses of this Australian Government Office for Women funded project were the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) preferences and learning styles of this group of doctors, and the factors and issues associated with their ability and opportunities to access CPD.
