Whether you’re interested in a particular specialty or you’re still making up your mind, "Speed Mentoring" is the night for you. Similar to speed dating (but without the eligible bachelors), groups of 3 or 4 of you will have a brief meeting with a successful woman from a medical or surgical field, then when the bell rings move on to the next, and so on. The event will conclude with a chance for further mingling and conversation over drinks and canapés. The specialties represented are general surgery, general practice, emergency, paediatrics, obstetrics/ gynaecology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, psychiatry, urology, plastic surgery, cardiology and academic medicine.
